I don’t know how many times I’ve said this same thing over the years, but I love the way Jim Rohn says it.
The “put your air mask on first” idea is a really hard concept to get because we’re conditioned to sacrifice for love, for money, for basic survival.
However, when we truly know ourselves and take care of ourselves, we can show up for others without fear, judgement, or conditions. All of the BS is stripped away and we can show up for them fully and completely, without the conscious or subconscious need to work something out through them.
In the end, it’s a much more honest exchange of love, service and energy.
